Home sweet home for us again and again

On a quiet street 1 block from 5th avenue and two blocks from the beach. There are two or three excellent restaurants very near us.

I recommend you book early and get a room inside the garden area if you want more quiet at night. There is a bar across the street that plays pretty loud music until about 2 am. The frontest rooms hear most of it. Bring some earplugs and know how to get them down in your ears, so they work.

Some rooms have to air-condition, and some do not. All rooms have ceiling fans and standing fans. The grounds are beautifully green and lush with a beautiful pool in the garden area. Most rooms have one double or two beds, and a few…. 3 beds in them. There is a lovely place to sit outside each bedroom and enjoy the day.

Room is comfortable with a good ceiling fan and no ac. Staff is friendly with their flyboard in cozumel suggestions, and because it’s a small place, it feels very personal. The (not included) breakfast is excellent and should set you back no more than about 100 pesos.

Nice room, grounds tastefully decorated, and a beautiful pool to relax by. The food in the restaurant was superb! Close to downtown, but far enough off the beaten path to be relatively quiet. Very reasonably priced and well worth the money.

This is such a charming place; the people are friendly and very helpful. Casa Tucán has 30 rooms, a pool with a beautiful patio. The site has lovely large trees and colorful Mexican art throughout the place.

The restaurant serves excellent food and drinks at the best price in town. It is a short walk from 5th Ave. It’s quite clean and the best price we found in town. I will stay there again.
